Smyk and Smyk.com have been key partners for Hurtimex for many years. The partnership has encompassed both a traditional model – with Smyk acting as a wholesale customer ordering Tup Tup collections – and the manufacturing side, under which Hurtimex has fulfilled orders for Smyk’s own-brand range, Cool Club.

From the outset, the relationship between the two companies was firmly rooted in the children’s and baby clothing sector. Hurtimex, as the owner of the Tup Tup brand and distributor of the Kanz and Pampolina brands in Poland, naturally complemented Smyk’s product portfolio. At the same time, Hurtimex’s manufacturing expertise was utilised in the development of the Cool Club brand. Many years of operational cooperation and close communication allowed both parties to gain a good understanding of each other’s capabilities and to build solid foundations for further development.
A turning point was the transition from offline cooperation to an online model and the launch of an Order 4 Order (O4O) partnership for Smyk.com. This transformation was accelerated by the global COVID-19 pandemic, which forced a change in business models, disrupted supply chains and restricted traditional retail.
A swift decision to adapt, coupled with the dynamic restructuring of logistics processes and IT systems, enabled Hurtimex not only to maintain operational continuity but also to strengthen its position as a flexible and reliable e-commerce partner. A key asset was the extensive portfolio – comprising nearly 8 well-known children’s brands (including Tup Tup, Kanz, Pampolina, Tom Tailor, Marc O’Polo and Döll) – which, together with ready-made content, could be quickly integrated into the online offering.
In subsequent stages of the collaboration, the scope was significantly expanded. The initial 15,000 SKUs were gradually expanded to nearly 77,000 SKUs, of which over 50,000 items are available in the current range, updated every 30 minutes. The total volume currently exceeds 300,000 items. The portfolio has been expanded to 40 children’s brands and 15 women’s brands, also including leading footwear manufacturers such as Lemigo, Befado, Viggami and Demar.

At the same time, operational processes were fully automated. Manual processing of individual orders has been replaced by a system that allows orders to be collected four times a day and fulfilled on the very same day. All Hurtimex products available on Smyk.com are covered by a 24-hour dispatch guarantee, which represents a significant competitive advantage in the marketplace model.
An additional operational advantage is the location – Smyk’s logistics centre is based in Łódź, enabling deliveries to be made up to twice a day. The effectiveness of the partnership is confirmed by the results: the average order fulfilment rate exceeds 99%, whilst on-time delivery remains at 100%. At the same time, Hurtimex is consistently expanding its range, regularly introducing new products and brands for online sale.
The Order 4 Order partnership with Smyk.com is an example of effective business transformation and the utilisation of synergies between offline experience and e-commerce expertise. It is also proof that operational flexibility, process scalability and a partnership-based approach enable the building of a sustainable competitive advantage.
